Can I give ToyCubby crates as a gift?
Absolutely! Just visit our website and choose the gift you want to give. Let us know the child's name and address, and we'll handle the rest! You can also gift items from the ToyCubby Store at any time – simply check the "Are you giving this as gift?" box during checkout to enter a gift message.
Can I have the first crate shipped to me so I can present it as a gift?
Yes, at checkout we offer the option to get the first crate of a new program sent to a different address so you can present the recipient with a physical gift. Subsequent crates will be sent to the shipping address provided.
After filling out the recipient’s information, you will proceed to checkout, which will bring you to the Shipping Address page. Fill out the recipient’s shipping address and check the box at the top that says “Ship the first crate to you to give the gift in person.” The First Crate Address form will open directly below.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
At this time, we don't offer gift wrapping. However, each program-specific crate is packaged in its signature color, and larger store crates will automatically be packaged in shipping boxes for easy wrapping (or just add a bow!).
If the child has received some crates before, will they receive the same ones again?
Nope! Our system automatically identifies new orders for kids who have started a program before and links the crate histories from the past, present, and new programs to ensure that we don't ship any duplicate crates. We also check for any ToyCubby Store orders placed by the same account to avoid sending those crates as part of their program, too!
How much parental involvement is required?
The short answer is: it varies! ToyCubby crates are designed to be accessible and age-appropriate, but we know that kids might need help from their grownups sometimes. Kids build confidence through hands-on play, so they might ask for more help now and then discover how to figure things out on their own later!
